Like most consumers, I always look at reviews before buying anything, even if the product the products is worth more than a hundred dollars, I’m pretty sure a lot of you do the same thing like me 🙂

How’s the selection process?
The first step is going to Amazon to gather the top-rated products then narrow it down according to the popularity and the average rating. The products have to have at least 20+ reviews (combined) to meet the criteria, of course, the more reviews the better.
After narrowing down a list of 5 to 10, We scour the net for video or individual blog reviews from bloggers. The list is narrowed down further to the top 5 is based on the factors we mentioned above. We also, look at feedback from other E-commerce sites to gather more consumer data on how the product performed.
We are then write down individual product reviews so we can carefully dissect the strengths and weaknesses of each product and from there make a decision on the top 5 or 10.
Why Amazon?
Everybody knows about Amazon is the world’s top online retail store that offers the best deals, sometimes even better than the manufacturers. And if something goes wrong with any product, they also have one of the best customer care policies on the web so it is a no-brainer.
How do you know if the reviews are credible?
For both positive and negative we look for detailed reviews from verified Consumers/Buyer that highlight both the strengths and weaknesses of the product in a way that is helpful to a potential buyer.
Also, we look for people that have experience in leaving concise reviews that explain in detail what they liked and disliked in those products. We usually, avoid the short one-liner reviews (e.g. this is the best or this is a shit…) that don’t add real value to the discussion.

No, I’d be lying if I told you that and if I personally reviewed something, I’ll let you know right away at the start of the article that it is my own product review.
